In this example, a portrait was transformed into
the still popular style of Warhols Pop Art - Silkscreen prints from
the'70s. We understand it as an artistic challenge to interprete the
style of Andy Warhol.
Main features are strong photographic alteration, hard contrasts and the resulting minimalism of the essential characteristics of a portrait. Trendy colors round out the overall design and show the portrait in style of a modern icon. These files are created for

Move with mouse over image Please note: For the implementation
of the Warhol style the technical quality of the starting image mustn't
be perfect, even black and white colored images are suitable.
If the picture is about 3-4 megapixel resolution and not completely
under-or overexposed, this should be usually enough for the
implementation of the Pop Art style à la Andy Warhol. But
the image content should be an expressive, characteristic display of
the depicted person!
It is not recommadable to work on boring portraits to reach the expression of Pop Art styles. |
